Piratas cibernéticos atacan principal banco estatal brasileño

AO PAULO (AP) — Un grupo de piratas cibernéticos dijeron el miércoles que desactivaron el cibersitio del Banco do Brasil, la institución bancaria estatal más grande del país. Se trata del tercer ataque semejante contra instituciones financieras brasileñas en una semana.

El grupo que se hace llamar "Anonymous Brasil" afirmó a través de Twitter: "Atención navegantes: ¡El objetivo fue golpeado! ... BancodoBrasil se está hundiendo. TANGO DOWN".

"Un mensaje a todos los grandes bancos. No los hemos olvidado. Mantengan la calma, que su turno llegará pronto", agregó.

Banco do Brasil dijo en un comunicado que su sitio Web no fue derribado sino "retardado" por una inundación de tránsito. The Associated Press no pudo acceder al sitio.

El lunes, el grupo atacó el sitio en la Red de Itau Unibanco Banco Multiplo SA, el banco privado más grande de Brasil y un día después fue atacado el segundo más grande: Banco Bradesco SA.

Anonymous Brasil publicó un video en el portal de noticias UOL Internet donde se ve a un hombre con una máscara que representa al personaje "V'' de la película "V for Vendetta" diciendo que los ataques contra los cibersitios de los bancos buscan "llamar la atención sobre la corrupción y la desigualdad en Brasil"
