La cantante Adele se presentará en los Grammy tras cirugía

NUEVA YORK (AP) — Adele está nominada a seis Grammy pero por lo pronto tiene asegurado un lugar en el escenario cuando se presente en la ceremonia de premiación.

Adele, de 23 años, tuvo una cirugía en las cuerdas vocales el año pasado y los Grammy serán la primera ocasión en la que cante en vivo en cinco meses, informó la Academia de la Grabación el martes.

Su segundo álbum, "21", ha vendido más de seis millones de copias en Estados Unidos. Está nominado como álbum del año y mejor álbum vocal pop. El CD incluye tres sencillos que han llegado al primer puesto de popularidad en la lista Bllboard, incluyendo "Rolling in the Deep", que también compite como grabación y canción del año.

Los Grammy se transmitirán en vivo el 12 de febrero en CBS desde el Staples Center en Los Angeles.

Adele también se presentará en los BRIT Awards el 21 de febrero
