"El Alquimista", del brasileño Coelho, fue traducido al aimara y quechua

La Paz, 27 ago (EFE).- "El Alquimista", de Paulo Coelho, la obra más vendida en Brasil, ha sido traducida a las lenguas indígenas aimara y quechua del altiplano andino por una editorial boliviana que la presentará este fin de semana en la Feria del Libro de La Paz, informaron hoy medios locales.

La gerente de la editora Litexa, Carla María Berdagué, declaró al diario La Razón que la traducción del libro fue impulsada por el embajador de Brasil en La Paz, Frederico Cezar de Araujo, que está cerca de dejar su misión en Bolivia. El libro fue traducido durante tres meses al aimara por Vitaliano Huanca y al quechua por América Agudolo y será distribuido también en Perú y Chile, donde también hay hablantes de la segunda de esas lenguas, indicó Litexta.

La novela de Coelho, editada por primera vez en 1988, ya ha vendido en el mundo 135 millones de ejemplares y ha sido traducida a 69 idiomas, marca registrada en libro de los Record Guinness, según La Razón. EFE
